Can balustrade glass be a single tempered lite?
The appropriate build-up depends on the project, mounting system and local requirements. In safety-critical applications, laminated construction and post-breakage behaviour require particular attention.
Is heat-soak testing required for every railing project?
No. It may be specified depending on the project, glass build-up and risk approach; if required it should be stated explicitly in the RFQ.
Why do holes and edge processing matter?
For point-fixed or special mounting systems, hole position, tolerances and edge quality are critical to installation compatibility and glass performance.
