Author: Teyfik GökdemirLast updated: 27 July 2026

A vegetable-oil RFQ should request more than a product name and unit price. Quotations become comparable when oil type, technical parameters, packaging, quantities, delivery point and documentation expectations use one common format.

Checklist

  • Oil type, refining status and intended use
  • Technical limits and target market where applicable
  • PET, tin, flexitank or bulk packaging
  • Net volume, case configuration and pallet expectation
  • Order quantity and indicative periodic demand
  • Delivery country, city and preferred Incoterm
  • Label language and private-label requirements
  • COA, origin and batch-document expectations
  • Target date and quotation validity
